The Institute for the Management of Information Technology
The Institute for the Management of Information Technology has been opened up to partners of the Consortium for Enterprise Systems Management. The institute is an intensive five-day experience traditionally offered to the front-line IT managers and above at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina is one of the founding partners of the Consortium. Consortium partners, Advanced Automation Consulting and The South Financial Group are participating in this year's institute and is held on the Furman University campus. The focus of the institute is advanced integrative thinking and problem solving. A broad range of content is presented relevant to the management of information technology in a knowledge-driven economy. The 33 participants will be better able to frame and define business/ technology problems, assess relevant information, consider alternatives and ultimately choose the best solutions.
